About Dillon
Born and raised in the old New England town of Guilford, Dillon spent his childhood in a colonial home rebuilt by his father, a restorative contractor. His mother ran a psychotherapy practice with an advanced psychiatric nursing degree. This unique combination of pride in hard work, elevated emotional intelligence, practical creativity and desire to help others drove him to become the person and professional he is today.
After attending Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, he headed west to explore the California coastline. Dillon completed a B.S. in Business Administration with double emphasis in Finance, International Business at Chapman University in Orange, CA. Immediately upon graduating he took an entry-level role at SimplyHired, a job search start-up in Silicon Valley.
His first true break came as the first salesperson hired at a then 12 person SaaS startup called Newton Software. Dillon climbed the ranks and drove all non-direct revenue until Newton was acquired by Paycor, now trading under the ticker PYCR. He was targeted to lead a new product launch of a partner marketplace as PM, and did so successfully- launching the Paycor Marketplace in June 2019. When Paycor closed down their San Francisco office, Dillon decided to take two months to travel & recharge before joining the Partnerships team at Postmates at the start of 2020.
After managing Delivery-as-a-Service Partnerships through the pandemic and assisting the transition of the business post Uber acquisition, he joined Checkr where he currently manages Product Partnerships.
Dillon now lives on the east side of Los Angeles with his wife, son, English Setter Otis and cat named Kogui. He is an avid outdoorsman, runner, and music head. He plays for the AC Palermo Los Angeles soccer club and with a regular pick-up basketball group in Hollywood. You can probably find him running through the Arroyo or hanging with his family on his front porch.
